Now I am trying to format my Samsung SSD 860 EVO but because of some reason I can't do it not at terminal nor using disk utility. But few days ago Mac OS accidentally crashed and after restart I just saw flashed question-mark folder. I purchased a Samsung EVO 970 and an adapter to use in the internal Mac SSD slot. I have different information related to installation new SSD. I have a MacBook Pro Retina 2014 with a bad hard drive and recently found out that I can use a PCIe m2 SSD with it on macOS High Sierra.
